Summary Writing Checklist

Use the checklist below to edit your summary.  If you marked No, then go back to your summary and fix it.  Put a check in the Fixed  box.

1. Did you write an introductory sentence?     มีประโยคนำ
2. Did you mention the author and the title of the article?       ในประโยคนำมีการอ้างผู้เขียน / ชื่อเรื่อง
3.  Did you identify the main idea at the beginning of your     summary?      มีประเด็นสำคัญของเรื่องที่อ่านในประโยคนำ
4.  Did you include all the important points?  มีรายละเอียดสำคัญครบถ้วน
5.  Did you leave out the unnecessary details?       ตัดข้อมูลที่ไม่สำคัญออก
6.  Did you write the ideas in the order in which they      appeared in the passage?      นำเสนอรายละเอียดสำคัญตามลำดับก่อนหลัง
7.  Did you keep the author’s meaning the same?        คงความหมายรายละเอียดสำคัญอย่างเดิม
8.  Did you use your own words?      ในการเขียนสรุปใจความสำคัญใช้คำพูดของตนเอง          (ไม่ลอกมาทั้งข้อความ / ประโยค)
9. Did you check for correct spelling?     ตรวจความถูกต้องของตัวสะกดในการเขียน
10. Is your summary short? ( roughly 1/3 of the original)       ความยาวของการเขียนนั้นควรประมาณ1/3 ของความยาวเดิม
